FRAGILE FLOWER
Fragile flower, bending low
Bowed beneath a fall of snow
Though you fade and fall to ground
In God's arms you will be found
Fragile flower, precious one
Lent by Him who lent His son
Like an angel in the night
Healing comes with dawning light.
Fragile flower blossoms still
On the slopes of Zion's hill
Tended by her loving Lord
She will grow and be restored.
God's dear love and gracious
gifts
Sometimes will bring pain like this
Yet grief will crumble into dust
When we see Him as we must.
Fragile flower, now we see
You were always meant to be
From the genesis of time
You were in the Father's mind.
Chorus 2
Fragile
flowers often grow
Soon to wither in the snow
Though they fade before our eyes
Heaven's light will see them rise.
